The staff were friendly and eager to help, (including the housekeeping and the staff that aren’t in the front). As for the morning breakfast, it was decent—not anything super extravagant, but definitely enough to fill your belly. The area the hotel was situated in also had walkable paths and taxi-accessible roads that lead to the water and pier. Personally, I found that the rooms were nice, however the bed was quite uncomfortable. Overall, I had a positive experience here!
The staff are so friendly and helpful. You get a decent continental breakfast. My room was clean and spacious. The bathroom could use some sprucing up. I spent one night, as I took the ferry to Vancouver in the morning. The bus runs right beside the hotel and brings you right to the entrance. I had forgotten a very expensive item in the room and they called me and brought it to me at the ferry terminal before I left. All and all, I had a good experience at this hotel and want to pass on my sincere appreciation for the excellent customer service I received.
I love going there for my Stat/Vac holiday's! Nanaimo is my hometown born and raised (Harewood) I love our manager and maids they all are so friendly and make me feel right at home litterly! It is why I keep going back there mind I have tried a few other staycations there but The Travelodge is my go to!
its not a hotel i would ususally stay at..kinda outdated..however..the rooms are clean and comfortable..the staff was great..parking easy..and walking distance to quater and downtown..no hot breakfeast..but was still good muffins..fruit and coffe was avalible..i would stay again if going thru Nanamio again..
An unexpectedly wonderful experience. A simple, clean and very cosy hotel. The room was clean, the bed linen was fresh and smelled wonderful. A quiet place to relax. The room had everything I needed, and I slept very well. Great value for money and a wonderful breakfast.
Travelodge by Wyndham is in a perfect location. The free ample parking is convenient. We were overjoyed at the cleanliness of our room, with daily room service. The eating room for breakfast was pleasant and breakfast, which is included in the nightly fee, has tasty healthy options. We highly recommend this accommodation.
Overall are nice and the b’fast selections are good but if they can add a toaster that would make it better. Rani from the Reception helped us to find another room when the original one was malfunctioning. Thank you to her for a swift action.
Low start rating... but better service than 4 or 5 star hotels in vancouver . No bugs!!!!!! Im an entomologist so I look! Vancouver sandman etc had bed bugs so I was so happy to find such a clean place. Continental breakfast great. Coffee was good and im picky! The ladies are so fun and hilarious. No boring people here. Thank you queens for being the best. We are planning a few stays a year here now as we travel up island. Great price
